Lollapalooza 2018 Highlights: Bruno Mars, Post Malone, The Weeknd.. & Spike

Lollapalooza 2018 is in the books! An estimated 100,000 people attended Chicago’s Grant Park each day to witness performances from Bruno Mars, Post Malone, The Weeknd, Camila Cabello, Khalid, Travis Scott, Bebe Rexha, Zedd, Logic, Dua Lipa, Jack White, Bazzi, Walk The Moon, Dillon Francis, Daya, Lauv, Greta Van Fleet and many more.

Our own Spike from Mojo In The Morning and Joe from The Joe Show were on site each day with full coverage to bring you artist interviews, backstage stories and celebrity sightings. Check out their photo gallery above. Going to four days of Lollapalooza in a row is an accomplishment in itself, but to do so in almost 100 degree weather? That’s what thousands of people did and most remained unfazed by the blistering heat. Bruno Mars drew the largest crowd of the festival. His feel-good party included hit after hit and enough fireworks for the 4th of July. The Weeknd headlined one night earlier, kicking off his set with "Starboy" and lots of fire pyrotechnics (and girlfriend Bella Hadid singing along side stage). Post Malone had one of the loudest crowds who seemed to know the words to every song. And Jack White treated fans to songs from his solo career as well as from his bands the White Stripes, the Raconteurs and the Dead Weather.

Latin pop girl power was in full effect with Camila Cabello. Zedd and Dillon Francis catered to the EDM community at Lolla on the Perry’s stage. And Frankenmuth rock band Greta Van Fleet offered seventies psych-rock channeling a nostalgic Led Zeppelin sound to a festival which featured a lot more dance and rap and very little rock ‘n’ roll compared to previous years. One of the biggest cheers from opening night came when the cameras caught Kylie Jenner in attendance to support her man Travis Scott). Increased security at Lollapalooza meant less arrests and a safer feeling than ever before so fans could enjoy the food, fashion and music in Grant Park.

Lolla organizers announced via the fest's app Sunday night the 2019 edition of the four-day music extravaganza will take place Aug. 1-4. See you there!
