Celeb Chef Mario Batali Avoids Sex Assault Charges

Celebrity chef Mario Batali won’t be charged for alleged sex attacks on two women in New York City.

If you remember this story, a woman filed a police report last March accusing Batali of rape back in January 2004 at one of his restaurants in the city. The NYPD was also investigating allegations that he sexually assaulted another woman in 2005 at The Spotted Pig.

Sources say cops and prosecutors determined there simply wasn’t enough evidence to bring charges against him.
