There are some stars and Top 40 HITS who were passed over or snubbed entirely - starts like Taylor Swift.

She is a 10-time Grammy winner, but this year, her popularity with the Recording Academy has cooled. Still, she garnered three nominations, including Song of the Year for "Lover."

No love for the A Star is Born Soundtrack.

Halsey: The twice-nominated alt-pop queen scored her first No. 1 as a solo artist on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in January with "Without Me," but was shut out of this year's nominations ENTIRELY.

Maren Morris picked up best album at last weekend’s CMAs (and she’s been a steady presence at the Grammy’s), but her acclaimed sophomore album was skipped over in ALL major categories, with Maren landing just one nomination for Country Duo/Group Performance for "Common" with Brandi Carlile.

Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello only got one nod for Seniortia … they were expected to get more.

And hip hop was completely ABSENT in all four major categories. DaBaby, Tyler, the Creator and past best new artist recipient Chance the Rapper only earned nods in rap categories, while breakthrough artist Megan Thee Stallion was totally ignored.
