Olympian Aly Raisman announced her retirement from gymnastics at age 25.
She shared the news on social media yesterday (Tuesday) alongside some images of herself as a child, telling fans that the decision came after “so many memories bubbled up over the holidays.”
Raisman won six Olympic medals, including three golds for Team USA since 2012. But her career is also marred by tragedy after she revealed she had been abused by USA Gymnastics' sports doctor Larry Nassar.
