The American Heart Association, the leading voluntary health organization devoted to a world of longer, healthier lives, is pleased to announce Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer will be the keynote speaker for the 2020 Detroit Go Red for Women Luncheon. This premier event will be held on Friday, February 21 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit and will be emceed by WDIV Local 4 news anchor Kimberly Gill. The annual fundraiser is designed to raise awareness of the leading cause of death in women: cardiovascular disease, including heart attacks and strokes.
This year's luncheon event is co-chaired by Paula Silver, Vice President of Corporate Communications for DTE Energy and Deborah Greenman, Assistant General Counsel, Toyota Motor North America, Inc. The Detroit Go Red for Women Luncheon is sponsored nationally by CVS Health and locally by the DTE Energy Foundation, Toyota Motor North America, Beaumont Health, ITC Holdings, WDIV Local 4 and McLaren Macomb.
