Protesters Clash with Detroit Police, Tear Gas deployed

Detroit has spoken yet again. It is great to see thousands of Detroiters coming together to protest for what is right for another day. But at night, the protests turn into riots. Tear gas was deployed and several arrests were made during protests in downtown Detroit yet again.

Detroit Police Chief James Craig said M-80 fireworks were thrown at police officers. After what were initially peaceful demonstrations, he said one agitated group started propelling various objects, including bricks and rocks.
