Gabrielle Union and "AGT" Settle After "Toxic Workplace" Allegations

NBC has reached a settlement with former “America’s Got Talent” judge Gabrielle Union after she leveled accusations of workplace toxicity against the show.

Union was axed as a judge on the show after complaining of racism, health violations in the form of Cowell’s on-set smoking, and her being labeled ‘difficult’.

Among the experiences Union witnessed on set was a racist joke from guest judge Jay Leno and a representation of blackface from a contestant that went unchecked by producers.

An internal investigation found no evidence of systemic racism but did lead to some significant changes in the area of human resources.

In June, Gabrielle filed a harassment complaint against “AGT,” as well as accusing ousted NBC Entertainment chairman Paul Telegdy of threatening her for speaking out against the work culture.
