The Ferndale Downtown Development Authority is frightfully excited to announce the “Hallowindow Decorating Contest” – a Halloween-themed event for Ferndale businesses where visitors get to decide the wicked winners while staying shockingly socially distanced!
All businesses city-wide are invited to decorate their space with ghoulish goblins, macabre masquerading monsters, shocking shadowy skeletons, or maybe even zooming zombies.
Online voting will run from Monday, October 19 to Sunday, November 1 at midnight (watch out for werewolves!) One winner and one runner up will be selected for the Downtown Ferndale District and one winner and one runner-up will be selected city-wide.

The Ferndale DDA is excited to bring a fun, safe activity to the community as we enter the holiday season. We ask that you keep in mind the social distancing guidelines of COVID-19 when participating. Please wear a mask, remain distanced from others outside your group, and be conscious of those around you. To those who are not able to visit the locations in person, we invite you to participate virtually by completing the online survey where we will post pictures of the decorations.
