Things didn't go well for the Detroit Tigers or for pitcher Beau Burrows this Saturday. It was Burrows' first start of 2021 and first time pitching in front of a crowd for the Tigers.
It was like 95 degrees out, and Tigers were down 8-2 in the 5th inning. Maybe it was the heat, maybe it was illness, maybe it was nerves, but Burrow's wasn't looking like he was feeling to good and after several minutes of trying to regain him composure he turned his back to the batter and puked on the back of the mound.
He was pulled from the game immediately and was sent back to the AAA Toledo Mud Hens. Hoping he feels better and makes his way back to the majors soon!
