Kim Cattrall's character on “Sex and The City,” Samantha Jones is not being killed off.
Sources instead her absence from the series is explained as having a falling out withSarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw.
The sources add that the writers have left the plot open for Cattrall's return and are hoping she'll come back to reprise her role for Season 2 of the reboot, "And Just Like That".
Cattrall and Parker famously had a falling out and Cattrall refused to join the reboot with her castmates.
