Kanye West is now onto his fourth divorce attorney, as he’s fired lawyer Chris Melcher ahead of today's court hearing against Kim Kardashian.
Kanye let go of Melcher after their relationship “had become extremely difficult, with little communication.”
Sources say West kept changing his mind on whether he wanted to settle things amicably with Kardashian or put up a fight – much like he did when he objected to her initial divorce demands.
West will instead be repped by attorney Samantha Spector, who recently represented Nicole Young in her divorce from producer Dr. Dre.
A hearing for West and Kardashian’s ongoing divorce battle has been scheduled for today (Wednesday), where a judge is expected to make a decision on the reality star’s request to be declared legally single.
And while Kardashian is expected to call in or video chat for the hearing, it’s “highly unlikely” her rapper ex will show up in person.
