Rihanna referred to motherhood as a “headf–k in a British Vogue interview published Wednesday.
She said, “You don’t sleep. At all. Not even if you wanted to.
“Man, you’re a zombie for the most part. You’re just going through the motions, and even then you’re so paranoid.”
Rihanna said they had “no one” to help after she gave birth in May 2022.
“It was just us as parents and our baby. You’re like, ‘They trusted us to come home with this baby? This new life? With us? No doctors, no nurses, we’re just … going home?'”
Despite her initial trepidation, she considers parenting to be a “legendary” role.
“It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever. It doesn’t matter.”
Rihanna has yet to reveal her and A$AP Rocky’s 9-month-old son’s name,
And while Rihanna did not know she was pregnant when portions of the interview were conducted, she debuted her baby bump during her Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday.
