Join Breakthrough T1D – Southeast Michigan Chapter on Saturday, October 4th for the annual Walk at Belle Isle Park with Ford Motor Company as National Series Sponsor. The walk begins at 8:30am and ends at 12 noon. Beyond the two mile walk, music and activities, free type 1 diabetes screening will be available on-site from Wayne Pediatrics. A quick blood test can catch T1D years before symptoms appear.
