It was reported on Thursday that both the media along with some models had to cancel their upcoming trip to Shanghai for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Katy Perry, who was set to perform at show, is among those who had to cancel her trip due to alleged political reasons. Sources from Page Six reported that Katy was originally told she would be able to enter the country for her performance, but instead was denied her visa due to the sunflower dress she wore during her 2015 performance in Taiwan. The sunflower dress was a symbol for Taiwanese anti-China protesters and did not go unnoticed. Replacing Katy Perry to perform is Harry Styles and if I'm being honest with you....I'm not mad about it.
