Your shopping experience at Meijer is about to change....and it's for the best.
Wahlburgers, the burger chained owned by actor Mark Wahlburg, is planning to open inside of future and already existing Meijer locations.
Yep. You read that correctly. Now instead of feeling bad about buying a bunch of stuff you don't need, you can eat a burger and forget about it. In addition to opening inside of Meijer locations, Wahlburgers will also have their food trucks onsite at select locations. That means that you can literally have a burger in your hand before you even step foot inside of the store and that right there, is a beautiful thing.
The new partnership is gonna kick off with appearances by Mark Wahlburg at two Detroit-area Meijer locations in Royal Oak and Taylor tomorrow at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., respectively.
