If there's one person who isn't thrilled about the Jelena reunion, it's Selena's mom. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that police were called to an L.A. area hotel last week to do a welfare check on Selena's mom, Mandy Teefey, at the request of a family member. She was then taken to a nearby hospital to get checked out and was then voluntarily transported elsewhere for treatment.
Sources with direct knowledge to the incident said that Mandy and Selena were engaged in a heated conversation regarding the reunion with Justin. When Selena revealed her and Biebs were in couples therapy, Mandy flipped out realizing that the relationship could potentially be more long term than she had thought. It's been said before that Justin is a huge trigger for Selena's family, with some of them even saying they will never forgive him or accept him for what he did to her years go...rightfully so.
Mandy was released from the hospital that same day. She's giving Selena her space to figure out what she wants, and she's probably hoping it isn't Justin.
