Oprah Winfrey was making history at the Golden Globes last night not only because she was the first African American woman to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award, but because she delivered one of the most POWERFUL acceptance speeches of all times. She touched on topics from race to gender inequality and everything in between--but it wasn't until she gave her take on #MeToo that brought everyone to a standing ovation.
This is easily one of the hardest blogs I've ever written simply because trying to explain this speech does it absolutely no justice. Y'all gotta watch this one for yourselves. I also feel the need to say this- OPRAH, if you are reading this, I LOVE YOU.
