Join Channel 955 at Schoolcraft College on Thursday March 29th from 11am until 1pm for the 17th annual Multicultural Fair in the VisTaTech Center in Livonia!
Fair goers will be issued a "passport" when they arrive, which they can get stamped as they tour two dozen displays representing the variety of cultures on campus and in our community. These "world travelers" can enjoy non-stop ethnic performances, as well as free ethnic snacks. Performances include the show-stopping African Drum & Dance Ensemble as well as perennial favorites such as the Manoogian School Armenian Dancers, a Mariachi Band, Irish Step Dancers and Capoeria, a Brazilian athletic dance. We are pleased to add the Tinikling Philippine Dance troupe to our line-up.
As visitors enter the Fair, the World Trivia Game will test their knowledge of global geography and cultures, offering a chance to win prizes. And don't forget the free 10-minute Chair Massage sponsored by the Schoolcraft Massage Therapy Program.
