Fleetwood Mac has apparently lost an important member of the band just before they kick off their tour. Sources connected to the group say that Lindsey Buckingham will no longer be involved in any band activity, and will not be joining his former bandmates on their massive summer tour. It's unclear exactly who cut ties with who and why, but as for now this decision is final and firm.
Buckingham was Fleetwood Mac's lead guitarist for over 40 years, ever since him and then-girlfriend Stevie Nicks were recruited by Mick Fleetwood and co. He and the rest of the band were inducted into the Rock nd Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
