Detroit Gets Some Love During The NFL Draft

On Friday night of the NFL Draft, former Detroit Lion Nate Burleson was asked to announce the pick for the team. Before he announced who the newest Lion would be, he took a minute to give the City of Detroit and its people a huge shout out and lots of love.



Burleson played in Detroit from 2010-2013. He is currently the host of "Good Morning Football" on the NFL Network.

Through the first three rounds of the NFL Draft the Detroit Lions have selected three players. 

  1. Frank Ragnow -- Center -- Arkansas University -- Round 1 Pick 20
  2. Kerryon Johnson -- Running Back-- Auburn University -- Round 2 Pick 43
  3. Tracey Walker -- Safety -- University of Louisiana at Lafayette -- Round 3 Pick 82

The Lions will make three more selections in the NFL Draft today.
