Last Night Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) was the host/musical guest on Saturday Night Live. Glover debuted two new songs last night, "Saturday" and "This Is America." These are the first new Childish Gambino songs since his Awaken, My Love! album that came at the end of 2016.
The official video for "This Is America" dropped just before Saturday Night Live aired and he performed the song to close out the show.
Childish Gambino is going to be on tour this fall called the "This Is America" tour (Now we get where the name comes from) but as of now will not be performing in Detroit. The closest he will be to the Motor City is Chicago on September 8th.
