"Avengers: Infinity War" star and now all-around good guy Benedict Cumberbatch says he will be only taking on projects in which his female co-stars receive equal pay.
In an interview with Radio Times, Cumberbatch says “It’s about implementation,”
“Equal pay and a place at the table are the central tenets of feminism. Look at your quotas. Ask what women are being paid, and say: ‘If she’s not paid the same as the men, I’m not doing it.’” - Benedict Cumberbatch Radio Times Interview
This issue has come to the forefront after many issues in the past months with equal pay. Including the movie "All The Money" where Kevin Spacey was removed from the movie after his scandals came to light and Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams had to re-shoot many scenes. For their work, Wahlberg was paid $1.5 million and Williams was compensated less than $1000.
Upcoming projects for Cumberbatch include: "Mowgli", "Rio" (co-star Michelle Williams) and "The Grinch"
