Man Saves A Life From What He Learned From "The Office"

Listen, I am one of those people that watch The Office a lot. By a lot I mean I've probably watched it through countless times. But the only thing from the show that has transferred to my everyday life is "That's what she said" jokes and when asking for something to say "Beer me".

But huge props to Cross Scott, for taking something useful from the show and saving a persons life.

Scott (not Michael) told the Arizona Daily Star, he found a woman locked in her car while he was at work. He broke in using a rock, took her pulse and realized she was not breathing. Scott doesn't have any formal emergency training, but instead referenced a scene from an episode of "The Office."

"I've never prepared myself for CPR in my life," Scott told the Arizona Daily Star. "I had no idea what I was doing."

Thankfully Scott heeded the advice of keeping 100 beats per minute and not Dwight's of harvesting the organs.
