Louis Tomlinson's 'Two Of Us' Gets The Acoustic Piano Treatment

"Everything is great" because Louis Tomlinson has released an acoustic version of his new single, "Two of Us," on Friday (May 24) and it is INCREDIBLE!

The 27-year-old singer tweeted on Thursday (May 23) that an acoustic version of his single would be released at midnight: "Recorded a special acoustic version of Two Of Us for all of you and it's out at midnight !" And let's just say, he did NOT disappoint!

While the original version of the single features a crescendo of guitars and drums, the acoustic take of "Two Of Us" is a softer piano-driven ballad that really hits you in the feels. If Tomlinson's original version made you cry, you may want to stock up on the tissues before listening to the acoustic version of the track because it's definitely an emotional rollercoaster to listen to (in the best way possible!).

As fans know, Tomlinson wrote this song as a tribute to his late mother, Jay, who passed away in 2016 from leukemia. He hoped the track could help anyone going through the grieving process. Sadly, just weeks after the release of "Two Of Us" in March, he suddenly also lost his 18-year-old sister, Félicité.

Just last week, the former One Direction member gifted fans the official music video for "Two Of Us" after previously releasing a video featuring an elderly man, named Richard, check off items on his bucket list. It's safe to say, Louis' music is the gift that keeps on giving!
