Iceland Makes Fun Of Facebook's 'Metaverse' With 'Icelandverse' Commercial

Back on October 28th, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced that he believes the next chapter of the internet will be called, The Metaverse.

He also announced that Facebook, the company, would be changing its name to "Meta" to fall in line with this new version of reality, while the app would still be called Facebook.

Many people couldn't stop talking about the bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce that was on a shelf behind Mark during the video.

Well, Iceland's tourism bureau saw an opportunity to parody the Metaverse with their own tourism informercial about the very real "Icelandverse".

I got quite a laugh out of it, and you can check it out below!
