E-40 blessed the crowd with a medley of his greatest club hits at the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards.
Following an introduction from host Fat Joe, the Bay Area legend dominated the stage inside Drai's Nightclub in Las Vegas on Tuesday night, October 15. He opened up his set with his 2014 joint "Choices (Yup)" followed by his verse on Big Sean's "I Don't F**k With You." Midway through his performance, E-40 took it back to 2006 by performing his collaboration with Lil Jon "Snap Yo Fingers" while dancers busted out the iconic snap dance in the background. He closed out his set with his iconic banger "Tell Me When To Go."
Like the other performers, E-40 reminded everyone to go vote in the upcoming election, but it's not the first time he encouraged fans to hit the polls. Earlier this year, the multifaceted artist and Joey Crack hit the campaign trail with former presidential nominee Joe Biden in North Carolina. Both MC's stood by the president's side before Biden ultimately decided to bow out and pass the nomination on to Vice President Kamala Harris.
“Fat Joe and E-40 are both legends of the music industry, who understand the importance of utilizing their platforms to ensure their fan base understands the stakes of this election,” a Biden campaign official told USA Today.
E-40 was one of several performers who had the club lit the entire night during the award show hosted by Fat Joe. CMG artist Big Boogie made his grand debut by performing "Bop" alongside his labelmate GloRilla. Juicy J, 2 Chainz, Soulja Boy, Roscoe Dash, Trina, Yung Miami and more also made memorable moments on stage throughout the night.
