One-Handed Player Makes NFL History with Seahawks Draft

 

Shaquem Griffin signed to the Seahawks in the fifth round, becomes leagues first one-handed player. The 22-year-old linebacker had his left hand amputated when he was four, having been born with a condition that prevented his fingers from fully developing. 

Shaquem joins his twin brother Shaquill, a conerback, in Seattle.
