Governor Gretchen Whitmer Signs Order To Abolish Marijuana Board

LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) — It's been nearly three months since marijuana became legal in Michigan, and on Friday, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed an executive order that establishes the Marijuana Regulatory Agency and abolishes the Bureau of Marijuana Regulation and Marihuana Licensing Board.

Honestly this whole entire legal weed thing in Michigan still seems super unreal. The fact that Whitmer is abolishing the medical part and creating a whole new agency for it. I'm not quite sure how to feel about it. All I know is I've heard from other people that this is a good thing and will speed the process up a lot with the recreational legalization of things. I do like marijuana coming to Michigan but only because its going to help out with schools, roads, and give thousands of jobs throughout the state. I'm rooting for this to work out for everyone even if you do really hate cannabis.
