Data Breach Could Hurt More Than 600,000 Michiganders

(WXYZ) — The information of more than 600,000 Michiganders may have been compromised by a data breach sustained by Detroit-based Wolverine Solutions Group.

Those compromised include customers of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Health Alliance Plan, McLaren Health Care, Three Rivers Health and North Ottawa Community Health System.

Wolverine Solutions Group has mailed letters to all impacted individuals

Welp. Now I have a ton of anxiety about having my identity stolen. Not that anyone would want any info on a schmuck like me but 600,000 people is a lot and there's only a few million people that live in the Metro-Detroit area. Yeah, I'm a little worried. I just hope they don't take my credit card and charge it up with stupid stuff like porn. I have had that happen to me twice before and no it wasn't just me reporting charges on myself. I hope no one is effected by this because these are scary times we are living in with identity theft.
