I'm shocked that Sandler didn't show more aggression when he was let go. When he was on SNL, he was the man. One of the funniest characters that the show has ever seen. The fact that he was fired instead of a mutual parting of ways was probably the best way out.
His manager tried to tell him in a nice way that he was let go from the show but Sandler didn't get the hint at first.
Since his firing back in the day, he has come out with some phenomenal movies, great comedy albums, and a stand-up special that will put a tear in your eye.
