I've always been extremely skeptical on 696 whether it is under repairs or floods during the summer. Now, I'm not sure if I will use the freeway unless its an absolutely emergency. It is really scary knowing that there are cancer causing chemicals flowing on the roads we take to and from work each day. My question is, why did it get this bad? I have no clue but I'm glad they have a crew coming in and fixing it. Hopefully they don't screw it up and we can cruise down 696 without any issues in the future.
