Yep, it's true. Lemonade stands are illegal here in Michigan, and can actually result in a ticket and fines!
Country Time (yes, the lemonade people) are actually offering to pay any fines resulting from lemonade stands, and are working to change the laws in the states where they are illegal.
I operated lemonade stands many times throughout the summers when I was a kid, but who knew that made me a filthy criminal?
I'm glad I never got busted!
