Congratulations to Oakland University's 7th President, Ora Hirsch Pescovitz. President Pescovitz lives by 4 A's: achieve, afford, apply and activate. Newly elected President Pescovitz says of her top priorities is to, "ensure our students are able to afford the education that we want them to get here at Oakland University." She has more than 30 years of experience leading change in academic health centers and universities, delivering innovations in bench-to-bedside discovery and facilitating collaborations between academic and community partners.
A few of her previous experiences are serving as Vice President and U.S. Medical Leader of Eli Lilly and Company from 2014 to 2017. She is also a proud Wolverine and from 2009 to 2014, she was the Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs at the University of Michigan and was the Chief Executive Officer at the U of M Health System.
