Mike Duggan, the Mayor of Detroit has filed a lawsuit that has all of Michigan happy. He has filed a lawsuit against the state of Michigan to change our no-fault insurance law. In this, it argues that the mandatory no-fault insurance violates the constitutional rights of Michiganders because our insurance costs are too high. Our annual auto insurance premium is $3,059. This is double the national average cost: $1,512.
