A horrible fire occurred a few weeks ago for a family in our community in Eastpointe, leaving only one member of the family alive. 16-year-old Mia Radosavac now has the support of our entire community and we saw it first-hand over the weekend. We attended the Warren Woods Tower homecoming football game against Lakeshore and facilitated a 'Miracle Minute.' We put 60 seconds on the clock during halftime and were accepting donations from all of the parents and football fans. We raised nearly $3000 in this matter of 60 seconds.
Now more than ever, Mia needs our help and support, being the only survivor of this terrible house fire. We can all imagine at the age of 16, losing your little sister and both parents will be hard to overcome. She lost her home, her photos and all of her personal belongings.
Any money donated to the GoFundMe page will go towards assisting with Mia's education, transportation and living expenses for years to come.
Mia will need a tremendous amount of love and support as well as financial help above and beyond the funeral costs for the next several years as she pushes forward through her teenage years into young adulthood. Education and personal expenses that would have been covered by two working parents are no longer available to her. Please make a generous donation to this GoFundMe account. They are so close to hitting their goal.
