Worried About Postal Workers in the Cold? Here’s How to Put Mail on Hold

Temperatures are nearing -45 degrees real feel over the next couple of days. Most state offices and schools are closed, but not for the United States Postal Service employees. It is up to us to give them a much needed break as their job entails going door to door in this brutal weather.

The postal service says mail carriers will deliver for every customer, but if you are not in dire need of receiving your package right away, you can place your order on hold. Your shipment will be held at your local post office until you're ready to receive it.

The USPS website has more details on how to properly place your items on hold.
