WOW! This news is so amazing. I hate packaging the box and having to ship it out to Amazon for a return. Sometimes I would just say screw it and just keep the item I don't even need. But now we can easily return our items to ALL Kohl's locations for free.
In a press release from Kohl's today, the company announced that all Kohl’s stores will be accepting free, convenient, unpackaged returns for Amazon customers starting in July. This program isn't new, but it is to us in Detroit. It currently is being operated in 100 stores in LA, Chicago and Milwaukee. Kohl’s and Amazon will roll out the program to all of Kohl’s more than 1,150 locations across 48 states. Kohl’s will accept eligible Amazon items, without a box or label, and return them for customers for free, providing additional service and convenience to Amazon customers.
“We are thrilled to bring Amazon Returns at Kohl’s to all of our stores across the country,” said Michelle Gass, Kohl’s chief executive officer. “Amazon and Kohl’s have a shared passion in providing outstanding customer service."
I must say, this is a perfect move for Kohl's because they have always been known for having some of the best customer service in the retail business and so does Amazon.
