Kick off the holiday season with "Light The Village" this Friday, November 22 from 6-9p. Celebrating its 18th year, Light the Village is always a holly jolly time and filled with many family fun activities and performances! English Gardens will host a make & take ornament station, The Little Donut Factory and General dogs will be on site with delicious food for purchase. Kids will be able to enjoy a bounce house, visits from Stan the Fireman, and Cornerstone Community Financial is providing “The Grouch”. Premiere Academy is providing free popcorn for all. A very special visit will be made by Mayor Barnett who will light the fireworks display off! We can’t forget about Santa Claus who will be stopping by on his sleigh!Children of all ages can get pictures with Santa starting after 7:45 PM in the Gazebo until 9:00 PM. With two stages of entertainment, the fun is nonstop! Acts include David Thomas & Co, the Pointe Academy Dance Center, Meadow Brook Theatre Carolers, Motor City Irish Dance, Rochester Adams High School Marching Band, and The Choral Union of Rochester University. Additional parking will be available at Adams High School with free shuttles continuously running throughout the event.
