On Monday, Michigan's Governor Gretchen Whitmer held another public announcement to slow the spread of the coronavirus. She issued a "Stay Home, Stay Safe" executive order for Michigan effective at midnight for the next 3 weeks ordering Michigan residents to stay at home except for essential purposes and telling non-essential businesses to stop asking employees to report to work. She also said to not panic and demands that we do not hoard. Grocery stores, banks, gas station, etc. will still remain open. We can leave the house to get fresh air but please be smart about it. Keep your distance and stay as clean as you can be. Follow the order!
Essential workers include police, fire, hospital, grocery store and pharmacy workers to name the most common.
The number of cases will go up and this will take time for us to impact this.
Stay home. Stay safe. Save lives.
