Michigan State Police are reminding citizens that littering is still a crime!
via: (DetroitFreepress) Michigan State Police is reminding Michiganders their personal masks, gloves and other personal protective wear belongs in the garbage can — not on streets and sidewalks. If you're caught ditching your gear someplace other than in the trash, it could come at a cost.
Litterers could becharged as much as $225, but the cost could vary. MSP Ft./Lt. Mike Shaw said local police municipalities can issue the citations and the courts decide the fine.
