Support for Sexual Assault Survivors During COVID-19

Recovering from sexual assault is not an easy journey and it is so important that survivors have access to the resources they need for healing.

(PATCH)April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and despite a statewide stay at home order and the temporary closure of many businesses, counseling, advocacy and other resources for survivors of sexual assault remain available as residents deal with the day-to-day battles of the new coronavirus.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer on Thursday said the state's sexual assault hotline, 855-VOICES4, continues to operate and provide 24/7, free and confidential support to survivors of sexual assault, their family and friends. click here for more
