Adele topped Beyonce for the top prize at the 59th annual Grammy awards, winning album of the year for “25”. 

Adele also won song of the year and record of the year for "Hello" as well as best pop vocal album and best pop solo performance.

Beyonce scored two honors, for music video and urban contemporary album. 

Meanwhile, Chance the Rapper picked up honors for best rap album, rap performance and best new artist. 

And David Bowie was posthumously awarded five awards for his album, “Blackstar”.
