Trey Songz declined to accept an offer that would have reduced a felony assault charge stemming from an appearance at our "Big Show at the Joe" in Detroit to a misdemeanor.
He was arraigned via video in Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit from L.A.
The plea offer remains open. It also would place Trey on two years' probation as part of his sentencing. Trey was charged in December with aggravated assault and assaulting a cop.
Authorities said microphones and speakers were thrown from theJoe Louis Arena stage. A cop was also punched. Cops say he was upset when he was told to end his show.
The case is heading to trial.
