Hilary Duff is talking dating after getting divorced.
The 29-year-old singer/actress tells Redbook: “I never think being single sucks until I go out in Los Angeles and the options are terrible. I really attract the old men!”
The former Disney child star has been dating her music producer Matthew Koma for a few months. However, she said being a divorced parent isn’t always smooth sailing, especially when it comes to co-parenting her son, 4-year-old Luca, with ex-husband, retired professional ice hockey player Mike Comrie.
Duff explains, “Some of my friends tell me, ‘God it must be so nice, you get a break from your kid because you share him'. I’m divorced, and it sucks. Well, it did suck for a while; now it’s just normal. But it’s true, I do get a break. I had Luca by myself for a few weeks, no help, when Mike was on the road, and when he got home I was like, ‘He’s yours! Bye!’”
Hil did add that despite her current circumstances, she’s not opposed to having more children — except she’s in no hurry to expand her family anytime soon.
