Megyn Kelly will start work at NBC News next month.
An insider says the former Fox News anchor will start work in May and that her Sunday night show will premiere in June.
Kelly was expected to start work in July, when her non-compete clause expired, but Fox released her from that contract early two weeks ago. Earlier this month, NBC News Chairman Andy Lack flew to Russia to meet with Vladimir Putin's spokesman, sparking rumors that the Russian president could be Kelly's first interview.
Kelly is also set to host a weekday show, but details of the show are still up in the air.
