Gwen Stefani was recently asked about taking time off from NBC's The Voice, and said she was "sad" when she realized she wouldn't be coming back this fall.
She said, "I have so much fun on the show. Though it sometimes feels like a job, since "you get really invested in it and it's emotional."
She was then asked about whether she’d consider leaving "The Voice" for ABC’s “American Idol.” So far, only Katy Perry has signed on to judge the rebooted series, and Gwen said, "That would, like, I don't know. You never know what could happen. You just never know...but I doubt it."
The reporter asked Gwen if she’d turn down “Idol” if they offered her $25 million like they gave to Katy Perry. She laughed and said, "I think she got all the money! I think there's no more left!"
By the way, Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are returning as coaches, and Jennifer Hudson will fill the fourth seat when the show airs September 25th.
