John Mayer tweeted Friday that he has something of a crush on Nicki Minaj, and he was shocked when she responded.
Mayer wrote, “I spend an inordinate amount of time per day wondering if Nicki Minaj would like me or not.” John didn’t tag Nicki on the post, but she somehow saw it and retweeted it with a response, “Would my body be your wonderland?” referring to his hit song "Your Body is a Wonderland." She then added, “Asking for a friend” with a “laughing while crying.”
The reply left John at a loss for words, and he wrote back, “Please hold, losing my s**t. This isn’t my reply yet.”

Nicki is reportedly dating fellow rapper, Nas.
