Meek Mill is filing a motion to be released from prison and for his probation to be terminated, according to his lawyer.
On Tuesday, the rapper also requested "the recusal of Judge Brinkley from considering and ruling on that motion and from any further adjudicatory role in this case.”
The complaint claimed the Philadelphia judge ordered Meek to confinement against the recommendation of his probation officer, who said he had "responded well" and "actively participated in an effort towards behavioral change."
The report went on to cite alleged examples of Judge Brinkley bringing personal opinion into her ruling. Judge Brinkley sentenced Meek after citing a failed drug test and failure to comply with a court order restricting travel during his probation.
