Justin Timberlake walked the red carpet Sunday night, ahead of the Golden Globes ceremony.
Actresses and actors were asked about the #MeToo movement, as well as the launch of the Times Up campaign. JT posted a photo of himself wearing a jacket with the words “Times Up,” accompanied by the hashtag #whywewearblack. But there’s just one problem — Timberlake stars in Woody Allen’s latest film "Wonder Wheel".
Needless to say, plenty of people called out JT.
Social media messages included: "You’re literally in the new woody allen movie."
"Justin Timberlake is literally starring in a Woody Allen movie but uhhh okay performative feminism."
"Justin timberlake wearing black and times up pin like he didnt just star in a woody allen movie."
"Dear Men In Hollywood,
A friendly reminder that none of your displays of solidarity at the #GoldenGlobes tonight matter unless you also refuse to work with harassers and actively listen to and bolster women's voices.
