Former โGleeโ star Mark Salling was found dead from an apparent suicide in Los Angeles.
Police were reportedly called to do a โwelfare checkโ on Salling, and were somehow led to a baseball field where his body was found hanging from a tree near a river bed.
Thirty-five-year-old Mark had apparently been dead for some time. A family member went to the LAPD station at 3AM yesterday to report Salling as a missing person.
Police say he did NOT leave a suicide note.
The former "Glee" star was awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography. His sentencing was scheduled for March. He was expected to get 4 to 7 years in prison as part of a plea deal.
